For Building 53 at voestalpine, Delta Pods Architects served as the general planner within the DELTA Group, overseeing project management (architecture, planning, tendering, awarding and invoicing construction supervision, project management, and cost and schedule control).
The design concept by Tobias Ziegelmeyer (Lead Architecture Wels, Delta Pods Architects):
“This facade symbolizes a bridge between tradition and innovation. The metallic colors embody technical sophistication and durability, while wood, as a sustainable building material, underscores the project’s ecological aspirations. The facade becomes an expression of a structure that is both rooted in the present and designed for the future.”
“The concept is inspired by light reflections, the depth of materials, and the interplay of surfaces—much like overlapping metal panels or the faceted surfaces of technical objects. The aim is to deliberately highlight the distinctiveness of the three shades while weaving them together into a harmonious whole through an irregular arrangement and clean lines.”
