Groundbreaking ceremony for future-oriented construction: Innovative laboratory building for wildlife and behavioral research at Vetmeduni
We are delighted to be involved in the project as General Planning for the new building for the Research Institute of Wildlife Ecology (FIWI) at the University of Veterinary Medicine, Vienna, which we are responsible for planning as part of the ARGE VETMED consortium.
The groundbreaking ceremony on September 26 marked the start of construction of the new building at the Wilhelminenberg site. The new laboratory building will be completed in 2027 and will integrate flexible office, laboratory, and seminar space as well as a lecture hall for research. The planned geothermal energy system will also make the site sustainable for the future. This construction project reflects our strong commitment to sustainable Architecture and innovative research infrastructure.
Special thanks go to the great cooperation with the building contractor BIG Bundesimmobiliengesellschaft m.b.H. (Lidija Orsolic) and all other project participants!
